Anjali Chawla – Content Architect
Anjali came to the United States as a student in 1992.
Her motto: 'If you think you can, you will!'
With this as her guiding principle, she started her journey. She worked three part-time jobs (while attending school) so she could pay her way through college. She graduated summa cum laude with an MBA in International Business and a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of two honors societies: Alpha Beta Kappa and Eta Sigma Delta.
Fueled by her success as a student, she spent her next twenty years navigating the corporate world where she gained hands-on experience and contributed to teams and organizations in the high tech, pharmaceuticals, and events industries.
Anjali's last ten years were spent at warp speed in Silicon Valley where she specialized in transforming business critical needs into innovative, market-driven, enterprise-class software products, earning a patent.
In her prior job as Business Architect at Adobe, she led the integration of sales and marketing systems (Salesforce with Adobe AEM).
Anjali joined the Charles N. Huggins project at its inception. She has played an instrumental role in leveraging "Spotlight" (Stanford Libraries' open-source software for content management) to architect the design and layout of content for this exhibit.
In 2013, in her quest for a better work-life balance, Anjali bought a house in stunning Sonoma County. She now runs a successful Bed & Breakfast out of this home and freelances as a consultant. In her spare time, if she isn't volunteering at a local center, she is out enjoying nature with friends and family.
