This exhibit compiles resources across Stanford Libraries relating to Photographer Eadweard Muybridge, including photographic works and manuscript materials. Muybridge had a long and complicated history with Leland Stanford and Stanford University. The works here include materials spotlighting Muybridge's experiments documenting animals in motion at Stanford and beyond, photographs of the San Francisco Bay Area, and the Stanford home in Sacramento.
