Day 1 (February 10, 2020)

Day 1 of the Forum focused on context setting and exploration, including plenary presentations and activities focused on clarifying the vision and challenges from the perspective of the participants.

  • 8:00-8:45: Registration and breakfast
  • 8:45-9:00: Icebreaker activity
  • 9:00-10:45: Plenary presentations (livestreamed and recorded)
  • 10:45-11:00: Break
  • 11:00-12:30: Plenary presentations (livestreamed and recorded)
  • 12:35-1:30: Lunch
  • 1:30-2:30: Activity 1: Mad Tea
  • 2:30-3:00: Break
  • 3:00-4:30: Activity 2: Speedboat / Low-Tech Social Network
  • 4:30-5:00: Retrospective/Feedback session and prep for day 2
  • 6:00-8:00: Reception with light dinner

Day 2 (February 11, 2020)

Day 2 focuses on idea generation and engagement, identifying needs, opportunities, and solutions for getting archival discovery and delivery to become more effective.

Day 3 (February 12, 2020)

Day 3 focuses on refining and selecting ideas produced in Day 2, assessing them for viabliity, feasiblity, and desirability, and to determine how participants may carry work on them forward either on their own, with their institution, or with other participants.

  • 12:00-2:00: Lunch and social discussion, allowing for potential follow-up between participants
  • 2:00: Forum officially concludes
