Performance by Chocolate Heads Movement Band
Founded in 2009 by TAPS Lecturer Aleta Hayes, the Chocolate Heads Movement Band began as an experiment to bring together dancers from different traditions to create an interdisciplinary performance around a unifying theme. We thrill in remixing existing dance and movement languages, live music, and visual artistry to craft performances staged within unique environments.
For the opening reception of Leonardo's Library, Green Library was fortunate to host the Chocolate Heads in a one-of-a-kind performance: The Chocolate Ball for Polymaths (follow the link for beautiful still images from the performance hosted on Jamie Lyons' site).
