The Saved Searches widget highlights saved searches listed on the Curation > Browse Categories page, accessible via the Administrative Dashboard. Each highlighted saved search links to the search results page generated by the saved search parameters.
Note that in contrast to the Browse Categories widget, even saved searches that are not published to an exhibit's Browse page can be highlighted via the Saved Searches widget. In other words, an exhibit creator can use the Saved Searches widget to highlight a saved search without that search also necessarily appearing as a published browse category on an exhibit's Browse page. This might be especially helpful if you wish to highlight a saved search with very few results to help tell a story about that specific content.

Accessing the Saved Searches widget
To use the Saved Searches widget on a Home page, Feature page, or About page, navigate to your dashboard and select the page you wish to edit from the Curation sub-menu. You can also get to the same editing interface by clicking the red edit button at the top right corner of a Home page, Feature page, or About page. For more information, see Selecting and Formatting Widgets.
Once you are editing the page, click on a grey "+" to reveal a new undefined widget. Next, click on the red "+" to the left of the widget to open up the widget menu, then choose the Saved Searches widget from the list of Exhibit Item Widgets. You should see the options in the image below.
Begin typing the name of the saved search and an autocomplete option will appear. The check boxes can be used to hide or reveal the individual items in the category.
Please note that due to display limitations, we recommend you only add 3 saved searches maximum to a given widget if you want to guarantee that they display to exhibit visitors.
Be sure to click on the Save changes button to save your work.
