Sometimes in our conservation treatment and assessment work, we need help to learn more about an object. At these times, we seek to understand our collections better with analytical tools, techniques, and equipment. These analyses may be undertaken at the request of a curator or researcher or for our own use. This page highlights some of the scientific analysis we’ve performed so far.
